Job summary

ibis Perth in the heart of the Perth CBD is seeking a commercially minded Sales Manager to drive growth in MICE and Groups on a flexible, part-time basis.

You will manage inbound leads, tailor proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and close sales while developing long‑term partnerships.

Work closely with Hotel Operations, Front Office and F&B to ensure seamless event execution, maintain CRM records, and contribute to weekly revenue planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hotel/venue/hospitality sales focusing on MICE or group bookings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Guest-focused, calm and courteous under pressure.
• Highly responsible and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound leads for meetings, conferences and functions.
• Prepare tailored proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts.
• Secure ad-hoc and series group bookings while nurturing relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities in Perth CBD and regional WA.
• Coordinate with Hotel Operations, Front Office and F&B for smooth handovers.
• Maintain sales tracking in CRM and participate in revenue meetings.
