Job summary

Mr Metal Recycling is seeking a Sales Representative in Sydney to drive revenue growth across the metal recycling sector. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, and promote our services while travelling locally.

You will negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with operations to ensure customer satisfaction. A proven sales track record and CRM proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales, preferably in recycling or related industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Excellent negotiation and closing abilities with persistence.
• Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
• Knowledge of metal recycling or environmental sustainability preferred.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Customer service excellence with a focus on long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within local and regional markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Present and demonstrate metal recycling services to potential customers, highlighting competitive advantages and value propositions.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of service to achieve sales targets whilst ensuring profitability.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
