Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Mackay is seeking a Trading Executive to procure ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal and coordinate delivery to facilities. You will work with State Trading Managers to drive safety and customer service excellence, based at our Mackay site.

You will manage a portfolio, develop customer relationships, and negotiate bespoke quotes while ensuring compliance and a strong safety culture. This permanent full-time role offers growth opportunities within a nationwide recycling

Qualifications

• Strong experience in sales or account management.
• Experience in the scrap metal recycling or waste industries is desirable.
• Ability to influence outcomes with various stakeholder groups to achieve objectives.
• Adherence to relevant company policies including safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a portfolio of existing accounts as well as developing new business.
• Developing rapport with customers, tailoring products and service offerings to their needs.
• Prioritising work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction.
• Negotiating quotes taking into account bespoke customer requirements.
• Compliance to ACCC and Trade Practices in all customer and contractor interactions.
• Support the ‘Goal Zero’ strategy through operating safely.
