Job summary

Brand Influence Group (BIG) currently seeks a BIG Merchandiser to manage an allocated territory, strengthening relationships with retailers and ensuring precise execution of merchandising tasks. This ongoing casual role covers replenishment, displays, and launches, with daily reporting via mobile devices.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence, car, and the ability to work autonomously across Strathpine and nearby areas. It offers flexible hours and an emphasis on field presence.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience in in-store merchandising and display setup.
• Ability to negotiate promotional space and execute planograms.
• Capable of documenting tasks with photos on mobile devices.
• Ability to represent the brand and clients professionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with store personnel.
• Build and maintain high-quality in-store displays.
• Negotiate promotional space with retailers.
• Execute planograms accurately and timely.
• Submit tasks and photos daily via smartphone/tablet.
• Represent BIG and its clients positively and professionally.
• Perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, lifting as required.

As a BIG Merchandiser, you will manage an allocated territory, fostering relationships with key retailers. In this ongoing casual role, you’ll ensure operational excellence through precise task execution – covering everything from replenishment and ticketing to display builds, compliance audits, new product launches and more.

About the Role

Territory

Strathpine and surrounds including Aspley, Sandgate, Chermside, Albany Creek

Hours

10-25 hours, average 20 hours per week. Per week based on business needs & open role (no guaranteed minimum hrs)

Availability

Availability is needed across Monday-Friday

Essential

Drivers licence and car

Key Responsibilities

• Driving strong relationships with store personnel
• Building and maintaining quality displays in store
• Negotiating promotional space
• Executing planograms
• Submit tasks & quality photos daily via smartphone/tablet
• Represent BIG and our clients positively and professionally
• Safely performing the physical requirements, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Successful candidate will need

• Supermarket, retail, pharmacy or liquor experience is highly desirable
• A current Australian driver’s licence and vehicle
• Strong & friendly communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
• An ability to work autonomously
• Ability to perform the physical & repetitive requirements of the role
