Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas is opening a brand-new store in Lockhart, and we’re assembling a team to prepare donated merchandise for the sales floor. You’ll sort, price, prepare, and stock items while delivering a welcoming customer experience.

New hires will train at our San Marcos location as we gear up for the Lockhart opening. If you enjoy hands-on, active work and being part of a team, this could be the opportunity for you.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Clear English communication.
• Retail experience is helpful but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort, hang, price, and prepare donated merchandise for the sales floor.
• Receive donations.
• Meet daily processing goals while keeping your work area clean and organized.
• Transport and stock merchandise on the sales floor by category.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with donation intake when needed.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store and jump in where help is needed.
• Help create a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Work as part of a positive team that is focused on serving our customers and community.

Goodwill Central Texas is opening a brand-new store in Lockhart, and we’re building our team now!

As a Merchandise Processor, you’ll play an important role in getting our new store ready to open its doors. You’ll sort, price, prepare, and stock donated merchandise while helping create an exciting shopping experience for our community.

New hires will train at our San Marcos Goodwill location while we prepare for the Lockhart store opening.

If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, spotting great finds, and being part of a team, this could be the opportunity for you!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Sort, hang, price, and prepare donated merchandise for the sales floor

WHAT YOU BRING
