Uniting is hiring a Men’s Behaviour Change Practitioner in Melbourne, VIC. The role delivers group-based FV intervention for men referred by Corrections Victoria or the courts, with intake assessments and referrals as part of a collaborative, risk-managed service.
The role sits in a supportive team, focusing on safety and service integration within the FV system, under SCHADS Level 5, with salary packaging and generous leave options.
As a Men’s Behaviour Change Practitioner, you will deliver group-based family violence intervention for men who have been identified as perpetrators of family violence, and have been referred by Corrections Victoria, the Magistrates Court or through community streams.
In this role, you may also conduct initial intake assessments, individual sessions and provide appropriate referrals to consumers who have been referred to the program. You will work within a dynamic team and in collaboration with other services to manage risk and increase the safety of people affected by family violence.
