Membership Manager

Sydney CBD | Temporary Contract

$110-$120K FTE

We’re on the hunt for a seasoned membership professional for our client who are a membership organisation within the professional services space.

What’s the job?

You’ll report into the GM and take full charge of the Membership portfolio. This includes strategy and day-to-day delivery across services, comms, acquisition, retention, and a fair amount of database wrangling.

• Review, refresh and drive member value proposition
• Get Life Membership and Fellowship processes back on track (and ready for Board review)
• Reintroduce welcome packs and clean up automated comms
• Plan and deliver the 2025 renewals and billing campaign (with Finance + Data Analyst)
• Sort out anniversary date memberships, credit card updates, and outbound comms
• Lead a CRM/database clean-up project—de-dupe, update, fix what’s broken
• Launch and run a lapsed member campaign
• Kick off student membership engagement and prep 2026 pricing insights
• Lead the scholarship process end-to-end
• Oversee the Membership Services team
• Handle membership queries, upgrades, disputes, and everything in between
• Help prepare quarterly reports for the Membership Committee
• Keep an eye on data trends, revenue recognition, and how member types behave

• You like nice people, but don’t need handholding or constant direction.
• You know how to tailor your approach to different member types, no matter where they are in their journey.
