Linktal Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager in Melbourne to own and grow freight forwarding revenue. You will hunt and convert new business, building a strong market presence with support from an experienced operations team.

Local experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales is essential, with a track record of winning accounts. You’ll enjoy autonomy while reporting to forward-thinking leaders during Melbourne’s growth phase.

Many forwarders are surviving right now. This one is thriving, and you get to play a part in strengthening their Melbourne presence.

You have the autonomy to run things, while still being supported by a solid operations team and a strong sales manager to properly induct you into the business.

You get a set percentage for the life of the accounts. Add that with structured leadership, a solid operations team, and a company growing at an average of 10-20% YoY for the past 5 years, and you have an ideal BDM role where the only challenge is wanting more time to sell.
