Job summary

Bin X is seeking a hands-on General Operations & Fleet Manager to lead our Melbourne head office, yard, and administrative functions. You will oversee fleet scheduling, driver dispatch, route optimization, and NHVR/CoR compliance while driving efficiency and safety across all operations.

The role requires strong leadership of admin, dispatchers, and yard staff, with focus on cost control, client relationships, and process improvements in a fast-paced waste management environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on operational leadership in skip bin, waste management, or fleet logistics.
• Proven track record in managing drivers, dispatch, and admin teams.
• Strong knowledge of VIC EPA rules, NHVR/CoR standards, OH&S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet scheduling, driver dispatching, and route optimization.
• Lead yard operations at Dandenong South to improve turnover and compliance.
• Manage office workflows, invoicing, and customer enquiries to maintain service levels.
• Monitor costs and commercial relationships with clients and facilities.
