Job summary

Vic Roadways Pty Ltd in Clyde North, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead fleet operations, optimise utilisation and ensure safety and compliance. This office-based role involves coordinating purchases, servicing and vehicle allocation to support transport services.

The successful candidate will have at least two years in fleet management, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency with fleet management systems. Occasional site travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management, transport operations or related field.
• Strong organisation and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate purchase, servicing, maintenance and replacement of trucks and fleet.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate fleet requirements.
• Plan truck allocation, schedules and vehicle availability to maximise utilisation.
• Ensure operations comply with safety standards and transport legislation.
• Maintain fleet records including maintenance, fuel usage and compliance documents.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to improve efficiency and costs.
