Job summary

ASX in Sydney is seeking a Customer Floor Concierge to support the catering team and assist with facilities-related inquiries across ASX sites. You will greet guests, serve beverages, deliver food and help set up rooms for meetings and events.

The role requires proven 5-star F&B experience, Barista skills, and excellent customer service. A flexible, energetic team player with RSA and food handling certificates is preferred; hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Proven 5 star food and beverage experience - corporate waiter, first class lounge or high end hotel background desired
• Experience making coffee at Barista level
• Experience from working in restaurants, conferencing or events environments
• Excellent communication skills with superior customer service skills
• Strong work ethic - willing to learn and be part of a fast paced dynamic team
• Great energy, flexible approach and immaculate presentation
• Valid RSA and food handling certificates
• Flexibility to work different shifts
• Worked as part of a small team

Responsibilities

• Greet customers to ASX and accompany them to their appropriate meeting rooms
• Make espresso coffees at Barista level and prepare other beverages
• Deliver food and beverage service in a professional and at times discreet manner
• Ensure that rooms are set-up correctly and within a timely fashion for all meetings
• Respond to queries promptly and efficiently
• Assisting with the set up and execution of events
• Show initiative to take on other duties with shifting priorities and flexibility
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of our customer floor and event spaces
• Reception services and coordination of meeting room bookings
