Job summary

ASX in Sydney is seeking a Customer Floor Concierge to support facilities queries across ASX sites and assist with events. You will greet guests, set up meeting spaces, and deliver food and beverages with professional discretion.

Your Team

The Customer Floor Concierge is a key member of the customer floor and catering team based in Sydney. The team is responsible for assisting with facilities related queries and requirements across all ASX sites, along with the management of facilities related projects.

Your responsibilities

• Greet customers to ASX and accompany them to their appropriate meeting rooms
• Make espresso coffees at Barista level and prepare other beverages
• Deliver food and beverage service in a professional and at times discreet manner
• Ensure that rooms are set-up correctly and within a timely fashion for all meetings
• Respond to queries promptly and efficiently
• Assisting with the set up and execution of events
• Show initiative to take on other duties with shifting priorities and flexibility
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of our customer floor and event spaces
• Reception services and coordination of meeting room bookings

Your experience and qualifications

Must have

• Proven 5 star food and beverage experience – corporate waiter, first class lounge or high end hotel background desired
• Experience making coffee at Barista level
• Experience from working in restaurants, conferencing or events environments
• Excellent communication skills with superior customer service skills
• Strong work ethic – willing to learn and be part of a fast paced dynamic team
• Great energy, flexible approach and immaculate presentation
• Valid RSA and food handling certificates
• Flexibility to work different shifts
• Worked as part of a small team

Nice to have

• Ability to work with and serve all levels of Management
• Current first aid certificate
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
