Job summary

mexec is seeking a national business development leader to drive growth across Australia and New Zealand in medtech, pharma, biotech, and healthcare. You will spearhead strategic sales initiatives, build partnerships with senior executives, and shape a scalable commercial function.

You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor high-value solutions for manufacturing, validation, testing, and packaging, while establishing robust CRM and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• Proven success securing large, complex revenue opportunities in medtech or life sciences.
• Experience building growth plans and selling across healthcare, biotech, pharma, and animal health.
• Ability to influence senior executives and procurement teams across multi-site organisations.
• Track record translating customer challenges into profitable outcomes with formal GTM plans.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the future commercial function with leadership and mentoring.
• Develop and execute national BD strategy across AU/NZ medtech, pharma, biotech, and clinical sectors.
• Collaborate with technical, operations and care teams to tailor solutions for manufacturing, packaging, validation, testing, sterilisation, and cleanrooms.
• Establish commercial infrastructure: CRM adoption, sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management and reporting.
• Identify and secure new enterprise relationships and lead complex sales engagements.
• Cultivate senior relationships to drive recurring revenue and market share growth.
