Silver Search is recruiting on behalf of a well established specialist surgical practice seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their team in Inner Sydney. The role is four days per week in a busy clinic focused on exceptional patient care and administrative support.

You will welcome patients, manage the diary, handle calls, book procedures, and coordinate records and referrals with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist within a specialist or surgical practice.
• Experience using Genie software is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional presentation and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Responsabilités

• Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service.
• Managing a busy appointment diary.
• Answering and directing telephone enquiries.
• Booking consultations and surgical procedures.
• Processing patient accounts, invoicing and receipting.
• Managing correspondence, referrals and medical records.
• Liaising with hospitals, patients and other healthcare professionals.
• General administrative support to the practice
