Job summary

Silver Search specialises in medical administration recruitment and is recruiting for a highly regarded reconstructive surgeon’s specialist practice on Sydney’s North Shore. The role supports the surgeon and practice team with patient-focused administration and the smooth running of a specialist practice, in a full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday setting.

Key duties include welcoming patients, managing the diary and inquiries, coordinating referrals and bookings, processing payments and Medicare

Qualifications

• Medical reception or specialist medical administration experience.
• Confidence using Genie or similar practice software.
• Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Warm communicator with a calm, patient-focused manner.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional reception experience.
• Manage the appointment diary, phone and email enquiries, and correspondence.
• Coordinate referrals, procedure and surgical bookings.
• Process payments, invoices and Medicare claims; maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with hospitals, patients and healthcare providers; support the practice.
