Job summary

Narooma is seeking a Medical Receptionist and Contact Centre Agent to be the first point of contact for patients, primarily based at the Marsden Park clinic with support for the Castle Hill clinic as needed.

The role offers both full-time or part-time arrangements with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Responsibilities include check-in, inquiries handling, scan preparation guidance, and billing across private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.

Qualifications

• Previous radiology experience would be an advantage.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
• Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
• Ability to perform shifts at all clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures.
• Answer emails and phone calls promptly and handle inquiries professionally.
• Advise patients on preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Handle billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborate with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
