Job summary

Qscan Group in Nowra is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our clinic on a full-time, fixed-term basis until 4 April 2027. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling face-to-face and phone registrations, bookings, triage, and queries, while maintaining high levels of customer service.

You will manage payments and invoices, operate the booking system, and support back-office activities such as data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a receptionist, preferably in medical or healthcare.
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
• Able to work Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain timely service.
• Adaptability to various databases and systems.
• Previous experience as a receptionist in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients, handling registrations, bookings, triage and queries.
• Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle billing and invoicing.
• Operate our booking system efficiently.
• Assist with back-office activities, including data entry and reporting as directed by your manager.
