Job summary

Pinnacle Movement Group Pty Ltd in Gymea NSW is seeking a warm, organized Receptionist / Sales Assistant to join our busy podiatry clinic and shoe store. You will welcome patients and customers, manage front-of-house operations, book appointments, and provide fitting advice for podiatry-approved footwear.

Fixed part-time hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturday mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or medical/allied health reception is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and a natural ability to build rapport with people of all ages.
• Ability to commence in an ongoing part-time capacity starting October.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and retail customers warmly upon arrival.
• Assess customer footwear needs, guide them through podiatry-approved shoe ranges, and assist with sizing and fitting.
• Maintain product knowledge regarding footwear brands, orthotic-friendly options, and clinical features.
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.
• Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments using our practice management software.
• Process retail and clinical transactions via EFTPOS/POS systems accurately.
• Ensure the front desk, waiting area, and shoe display floor remain tidy, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist with stock management, receiving deliveries, and inventory counts.
• Open and close the clinic safely and efficiently according to operating procedures.

Consistent Schedule: Fixed part-time hours every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (8:45 AM - 5:30 PM) so you can plan your week.

Causal Schedule: Saturday Mornings (8:45AM - 1:00PM and weekday lunch covers (11:30 to 2:30)
