Job summary

Pinnacle Movement Group Pty Ltd in Gymea NSW is seeking a warm, organized Receptionist / Sales Assistant to join our busy podiatry clinic and shoe store. You will welcome patients and customers, manage front-of-house operations, book appointments, and provide fitting advice for podiatry-approved footwear.

Fixed part-time hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturday mornings as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or medical/allied health reception is strongly preferred.
Exceptional communication, empathy, and a natural ability to build rapport with people of all ages.
Ability to commence in an ongoing part-time capacity starting October.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and retail customers warmly upon arrival.
Assess customer footwear needs, guide them through podiatry-approved shoe ranges, and assist with sizing and fitting.
Maintain product knowledge regarding footwear brands, orthotic-friendly options, and clinical features.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.
Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments using our practice management software.
Process retail and clinical transactions via EFTPOS/POS systems accurately.
Ensure the front desk, waiting area, and shoe display floor remain tidy, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with stock management, receiving deliveries, and inventory counts.
Open and close the clinic safely and efficiently according to operating procedures.
