Job summary

Macquarie Hand Therapy in Sydney is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis (2 days per week: Wednesday and Thursday). You will create a welcoming environment for patients and support our clinical team with high-quality administrative services.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling calls and appointments, invoicing and debt reminders, and assisting with practice operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical or physiotherapy administration role (desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with practice management systems (Nookal or similar preferred).
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Flexibility to support the needs of the practice.
• Ability to prioritise and dynamically problem-solve.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis (2 days per week – Wednesday & Thursday).

You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting our clinical team with high-quality administrative services.

There may also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at our other locations.

Key Responsibilities
