Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network is recruiting a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our Penrith team on a full-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience across the clinic's reception area.

You will support check-in, booking, billing, and patient preparation for scans, while working across multiple screens and systems to keep workflows smooth and patient care seamless.

Qualifications

• Minimum reception experience in healthcare or busy environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to manage patient flow across multiple screens.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures.
• Answer emails and phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Advise patients on preparation prior to scans.
• Handle billing processes including private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborate with clerical, technical staff, radiologists and referrers.

Join our friendly

Join our friendly Penrith team as a full-time Medical Receptionist. This role operates from Monday to Friday on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:45am - 10:00pm, with occasional Saturday shifts from 6:45am - 5:00pm.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating a positive and professional patient experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

• Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
• Relevant reception experience.
• Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
