Job summary

UQ Health Care Ltd in Ipswich is seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist for Bremer Medical Centre on 14 to 32 hours per week. You will provide friendly, patient-focused front-desk service and support the multidisciplinary team.

Meet and greet patients, handle calls, book appointments, process billing, and assist with administrative tasks. Experience with Best Practice software is preferred to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in a similar position within a general practice.
• Experience using Best Practice software.
• Friendly and professional telephone manner.
• High level of organisational and administrative skill with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Able to work well within a close-knit team environment.
• Understand the importance of patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet GP, Specialist & Allied Health patients with excellent customer service

At times the position may require 5 days per week for holiday/sick relief.
