Job summary

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) is seeking a confident Medical Receptionist to work across our Southern Hub (John Flynn Hospital, Tweed Heads and Nuclear Medicine Centre) or Northern Hub (Pindara Hospital and Benowa). You will be the first point of contact, delivering high standards of patient care while supporting clinic operations.

You’ll handle bookings, inquiries, payments, and referrals across fast-paced imaging environments, with opportunities for training and career growth within a leading

• Proven experience in reception, healthcare, or customer-facing roles (radiology experience a bonus!).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Your Day-to-Day

As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high standard of care and ensuring clinic operations run smoothly.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Welcoming and checking in patients
• Answering phones and managing email enquiries
• Booking and rescheduling appointments using our RIS system (Karisma)
• Advising patients on preparation requirements
• Quoting fees and processing payments
• Handling DVA and third-party claims
• Supporting our clinical teams to provide smooth and efficient patient care

What You’ll Bring

• A warm, professional, and approachable personality
• Proven experience in reception, healthcare, or customer-facing roles (radiology experience a bonus!)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Confidence using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
