Job summary

South Coast Radiology is seeking a confident, organised Medical Receptionist to join our Southern Hub across John Flynn Hospital, Tweed Heads and our Nuclear Medicine Centre.

As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll welcome and check in visitors, answer calls and emails, book appointments in Karisma, quote fees, process payments and assist with DVA/ third-party claims while supporting our clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception, healthcare, or customer service.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in fast-paced settings.
• Willingness to learn and adapt across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day

As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a key role in delivering a high standard of care and ensuring clinic operations run smoothly.

You’ll Be Responsible For

What You’ll Bring

• A warm, professional, and approachable personality
• Proven experience in reception, healthcare, or customer-facing roles (radiology experience a bonus!)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Confidence using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
