Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a friendly, professional Medical Receptionist to join the team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. This full-time role operates on a 9-day fortnight with Monday to Friday shifts from 5:45am to 9:00pm, offering flexibility and weekend penalty rates.

You'll welcome patients, manage bookings, answer queries, process accounts and Medicare/private health claims, and support radiologists and sonographers in a busy imaging environment.

Qualifications

Previous medical reception or healthcare experience is highly regarded.
Strong customer service and administration experience encouraged.
Friendly, approachable and professional.
Organised, reliable and able to multitask.
Comfortable working in a busy environment.
Team player and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
Managing appointments, bookings and patient enquiries
Answering phones and responding to patient queries
Processing accounts, Medicare and private health claims
Supporting Radiologists, Sonographers and Radiographers
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient information
Liaising with patients, referrers and medical practices

About the Role

We currently are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join the team at our clinic at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. Working a 9-day fortnight Monday to Friday. Shifts between 5.45am and 9.00pm with the flexibility to work the occasional weekend shift. Penalty rates apply for weekends for extra earning potential!

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.

Your day will include:
