Job summary

Sunshine Coast Radiology is hiring Medical Receptionists to join our growing teams across the Sunshine Coast. You’ll welcome patients, manage appointments and answer enquiries with a friendly, professional approach in a busy medical environment.

As part of the patient journey you’ll process accounts and Medicare/private health claims, liaise with referrers, radiologists and clinics, and support daily operations. Full training is provided, and we foster an inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Professional and respectful with confidential information.
• Experience in medical reception or healthcare is valued, but strong customer service is acceptable.

Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is looking for enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing teams across the Sunshine Coast.

About Sunshine Coast Radiology

Sunshine Coast Radiology is the largest medical imaging provider on the Sunshine Coast and part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostics (IDX) network.

With 13 clinics Spanning the Sunshine Coast, we offer opportunities to work in desirable locations and clinical environments, supported by experienced and friendly teams.

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.

Your day will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
• Managing appointments, bookings and patient enquiries
• Answering phones and responding to patient queries
• Processing accounts, Medicare and private health claims
• Supporting Radiologists, Sonographers and Radiographers
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient information
• Liaising with patients, referrers and medical practices
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
• Participating in team meetings, training and ongoing development

About You
