Job summary

X-Ray Group in Yarrawonga seeks a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our regional team. You will be the face of the practice, greet patients, answer calls, manage bookings and support referrals with care and professionalism.

The role offers in-house training and opportunities to grow within the IDX Group network, with a focus on excellent patient service and efficient front-d desk operations.

Qualifications

• Previous medical receptionist experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills to show care and empathy
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage inquiries

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact, greeting patients at the front desk
• Answer calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and sensitively
• Schedule bookings and maximise appointment slots
• Inform patients of preparation, costs, and concession card requirements
• Process referrals within a multidisciplinary team including receptionists, radiologists, radiographers and sonographers
