Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network in Hamilton is seeking a Medical Administrator to join our front-line team. You will greet patients, handle bookings, referrals, payments, and ensure a welcoming reception area.

Working Monday to Friday with 7:30am–8:30pm shifts, you will manage data entry, maintain accurate records, and support colleagues while delivering quality customer care in a high-volume medical setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical or high-volume customer service environment.
• Familiarity with computerised booking systems and reception tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Experience as a medical typist is preferred but not essential.
• Good PC and data entry/typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for patients over phone and in person.
• Assist patients to make and amend bookings, process referrals, and provide pricing info.
• Greet patients in person, enter data, take payments, keep reception clean.

Our clinics in Hamilton are currently seeking a Medical Administrator to join the team, this role would be based in Anglesea, Braemar and the Waikato Hospital.

This is afull-time, permanentopportunity, working Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between7:30am and 8:30pm.

What will you be doing?

The role involves being the first point of contact for all our patients over the phone and in person. Giving patients the quality care associated with I-MED Radiology Network. In this role you will be assisting patients to make and amend bookings, processing referrals, giving general preparation, and billing information relating to bookings over the phone. In person greeting patients, data entry, taking payments and ensuring our reception area remains clean and welcoming.
