Job summary

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Parkville, Melbourne, is seeking a full-time Medical Administration staff member for the Cancer Imaging department. Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing enquiries, booking appointments and supporting report distribution and billing in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Remuneration aligns with the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement; base salary ranges from HS1 to HS17 per annum, pro-rated for part-time depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical administration within a radiology setting preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and medical information systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients on arrival.
• Manage inquiries in person, via phone, email and fax.
• Assist with booking, rescheduling and confirming appointments.
• Support distribution of reports and respond to billing enquiries.
• Perform general administrative duties as required by the Manager.
