Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Media Relations Manager to lead our client's communication efforts from Queenstown. This strategic role builds and nurtures relationships with media outlets, develops compelling press materials, and manages the company's public image.

You will secure positive coverage, act as the primary contact for journalists, and advise leadership on media engagement strategies to raise brand visibility across Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in media relations, PR, or journalism.
• Proven track record of securing positive media coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of media trends and the news cycle.
• Experience in crisis communication is a significant advantage.
