Rugby World Cup Australia 2027 seeks a Media Services Manager to lead end-to-end media accreditation and match allocation for non-rights holding media. Based in Sydney, you will coordinate with Accreditation, Transport and Broadcast teams to ensure timely information and seamless media access.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, volunteer coordination, and experience in major events. A fast-paced, globally connected operation, with opportunities to shape the tournament’s media

Qualifications

• 3+ years in media operations at major events or similar.
• Experience managing accreditation and data handling.
• Knowledge of media landscape and outlets.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Advanced administrative and IT skills; detail-oriented.
• Experience recruiting/training volunteers; rostering.
• Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end media accreditation administration.
• Oversee tournament match allocation process and changes.
• Serve as primary ops contact for non-rights holding media.
• Collaborate with Accreditation, Transport and Broadcast teams.
• Plan and deliver media-focused events and training.
• Coordinate Media Operations volunteer workforce.
• Publish operational information to media portals and contribute reports.
