Zusammenfassung

Rugby World Cup Australia (RWCA) is seeking a Media Services Manager to lead the end-to-end media accreditation and match allocation for non-rights holding media and photographers, based in Sydney CBD.

Reporting to the Senior Media Operations Manager, you will coordinate with Accreditation, Transport and Broadcast teams, oversee volunteer workforce, and ensure timely information, seamless access and outstanding support throughout the Tournament lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Media Operations within major sporting events or complex event environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing accreditation processes and systems, including reviewing applications and access requirements.
• Strong knowledge of local, national, and international news organisations, with experience supporting media at major events.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, customer service, and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Advanced administrative, organisational and IT skills with attention to detail and multi-priority management.
• Experience recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteer workforces, including rostering and communications.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end administration of the media accreditation process, including application reviews and communicating outcomes.
• Oversee the Tournament match allocation process and coordinate allocation changes.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for non-rights holding media with timely information.
• Build relationships with internal service delivery teams to ensure seamless media services.
• Support planning and delivery of media-focused events, meetings, and training initiatives.
• Lead the coordination of the Media Operations volunteer workforce including rostering and trainings.
• Prepare and publish operational information to media portals and contribute to post-Tournament reports.
