Job summary

Hass Pumps, based in Melbourne, seeks a Field Service Technician to service diesel and electric fire pump systems across Melbourne and greater Victoria. The role offers autonomy, variety, and a clear path to upskill in a growing industry.

Join a hands-on team and perform servicing, fault finding, and system testing on-site at customer sites. Training is provided, and a company vehicle is included to support field work.

We're currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for mechanics or technicians looking for a stable, long-term position with variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to upskill into a specialised industry.

This is a hands-on field service role working on diesel and electric fire pump systems across Melbourne and greater Victoria. You'll attend a range of sites, carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and system testing.

This role suits candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, including:

• Heavy vehicle or mobile plant mechanics
• Industrial or maintenance fitters
• Pump or mechanical service technicians

Full training is provided - including fire systems, controllers, and compliance - so no prior fire industry experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair diesel engines, pumps, and associated equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
