Job summary

Hass Pumps, based in Melbourne, seeks a Field Service Technician to service diesel and electric fire pump systems across Melbourne and greater Victoria. The role offers autonomy, variety, and a clear path to upskill in a growing industry.

Join a hands-on team and perform servicing, fault finding, and system testing on-site at customer sites. Training is provided, and a company vehicle is included to support field work.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or hands-on mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Good communication and professional approach.
• Willingness to obtain Police Check and Working With Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair diesel engines, pumps, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Carry out installation and replacement of pumps and motors.
• Perform routine testing and inspections.
• Complete service reports and job documentation.
• Work safely and in line with compliance standards.
