Job summary

CVE Fire & Safety Pty Ltd in Melbourne is expanding and is seeking a service technician to perform programmed/preventative maintenance and repair work on Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Equipment, and life safety components across Victoria.

The role requires solid knowledge of AS1851, strong organisation and time management, and a valid Driver's licence. Police Check and Working with Children Check/OHS Induction are expected, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of AS1851.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing is desirable but not essential.
• Valid Police Check, Working with Children Check and OHS Induction.
• Current Drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out programmed/preventative maintenance and repair work on Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
• Maintain and repair Fire Equipment
• Service Paths of Travel, Exit Doors, Fire/Smoke Doors
• Maintain Exit and Emergency Lighting
• Operate unsupervised and work cooperatively in a team
• Respond quickly and confidently to problems while remaining quality focused

We are an expanding and innovative Fire Protection company located in the southeast of Melbourne that provides maintenance and installation across Victoria for the commercial industry. We are currently looking for a service technician to become part of our handpicked team to carry out programmed/preventative maintenance and repair work on Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Equipment, Paths of Travel, Exit Doors, Fire/Smoke Doors, and Exit and Emergency Lighting.
