Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions, a leading renewable energy company, seeks a Mechanical Site Engineer for the Lower Wonga BESS & Solar PV project in the Gympie region, Queensland. This hands-on, on-site position supports construction and commissioning activities with a focus on mechanical system delivery.

You will oversee mounting structures, trackers and module installations, read and interpret drawings, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and site crews.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect mechanical works on site (mounting structures, trackers, modules).
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure correct implementation by subcontractors.
• Coordinate and supervise mechanical subcontractors and labour resources.
• Perform or assist mechanical commissioning activities.
• Identify and manage site issues affecting quality, safety or schedule.
• Maintain records of works, inspections and tests, ensuring compliance.
