Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions GmbH seeks a Construction Manager to lead on-site activities for large-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will guide subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on diverse civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent stakeholder management to deliver projects on time and within scope, with a focus on grid-connection

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of on-site construction leadership experience.
• Delivery of at least one large-scale solar or hybrid PV + BESS project.
• Understanding of civil works, mechanical/electrical installation, HV substation construction, and grid-connection requirements.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Safely develop the construction execution plan, integrating all vertical scopes into a unified schedule.
• Oversee daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and material deliveries for productivity and safety.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders, ensuring milestones are met.
• Oversee inspections and audits to ensure construction quality, compliance with design specifications, Australian Standards, and regulatory codes.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover activities, ensuring grid-connection readiness and operational compliance.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to site supervisors and construction teams, fostering safety and performance.
