Join the site team for an exciting large‑scale hybrid Solar PV and BESS project in Queensland. In this role, you’ll lead the full on‑site delivery of the Solar PV works, coordinating construction, civil, mechanical, electrical, HV, and commissioning activities while supporting Australia’s energy transition.

INTEC is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Site (Solar PV) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all PV works, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality project delivery. You will coordinate across engineering, construction, HSE, and client teams, managing subcontractors and ensuring delivery aligns with contractual, statutory, and grid requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site Solar PV construction and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with contract, programme, and quality standards
• Coordinate civil, piling, tracker, module, inverter, MV/HV, and grid interface works
• Manage interfaces with BESS and substation works to ensure safe, efficient parallel delivery
• Provide regular reporting on Solar PV project health, risks, interfaces, and mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and grid codes, including HV works and energisation
• Oversee PV commissioning readiness, performance testing, and handover to operations

About You

• Proven ability to manage on‑site PV construction teams, subcontractors, and multi‑contractor environments
• Strong track record delivering PV works safely, on time, and to budget, including HV and grid‑connected systems
• Experienced in coordinating interfaces with BESS or other co‑located works for seamless hybrid project delivery
• Skilled in commissioning, energisation, and handover of PV assets, ensuring quality and compliance
• Confident in reporting project health, risks, and progress to senior leadership while resolving on‑site challenges
• Committed to ongoing professional growth and applying best practices to achieve operational excellence
