Job summary

Granny Smith Gold Mine, part of Gold Fields, is seeking an experienced Coordinator: Projects (Mechanical) to drive the delivery of capital and sustaining mechanical projects on site. This role requires coordination of design, execution, and commissioning activities, ensuring safety, compliance with standards, and timely delivery across processing, underground, and surface operations.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Boilermaking with mining project delivery experience.
• Current WHS Statutory Supervisors certificate (S26).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs to support design and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of mechanical capital and sustaining projects across processing, underground, and surface operations.
• Provide technical oversight of mechanical designs, installations, plant upgrades, and commissioning.
• Manage mechanical contractors, consultants, and vendors to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and monitor project scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and resources.
