Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a seasoned Supervisor/Leading Hand to lead safe, efficient delivery of a portfolio of construction projects at the Gruyere mine. This FIFO role from Perth operates on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster and involves driving construction readiness, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with scope, schedule and site standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience supervising or leading hand in mining or construction.
• Ability to make field decisions and escalate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Drive construction readiness including methodology, work pack scope development, mobilisation, site establishment, workfront planning, execution and handover.
• Collaborate with contractors to finalize construction methodologies and ensure safety, quality, and critical controls.
• Support safe project execution via development/review of permits, lift plans, and related requirements.
• Coordinate shutdowns, SIMOPS, and minimize production impact with operational stakeholders.
• Model and reinforce our values to foster an inclusive, safe, high-performing team.
