Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our mining and quarrying team in Ormeau, Queensland. The role combines workshop (60%) and on-site (40%) work, focusing on fixed plant maintenance and repair of screens and crushers.

Trade-qualified candidates with hands-on experience on screens and crushers, and a willingness to travel to mine sites, are encouraged to apply. The position offers $50–$60 per hour plus super and a fully maintained work ute, with Monday to Friday

The Job:

We’re after a Mechanical Fitter to join a well-known outfit in the mining and quarrying industry. You’ll be getting your hands dirty in a mix of workshop (60%) and on-site (40%) work. If you’ve got the tools and the know-how, you’ll fit right in.

What You Need:

Must be trade qualified and the vast majority of your experience will need to have been working on Screens and Crushers. Electrical experience is highly regarded. Must be willing to travel to mine sites if needed
