Qualifications

• Trade qualified mechanical fitter with relevant heavy industry experience.
• Experience with pumps, valves, gearboxes and rotating equipment.
• Strong rebuild and refurbishment experience.
• Fixed plant or heavy industrial maintenance background.
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Rebuilds and refurbishment of heavy industrial equipment.
• Strip-down, inspection and reassembly of mechanical components.
• Maintenance of pumps, valves, gearboxes and rotating equipment.
• Repairs to crushers and other large fixed plant.

About the Role

Working within a highly skilled workshop team, you’ll be responsible for rebuilding, refurbishing and repairing heavy industrial equipment to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Rebuilds and refurbishment of heavy industrial equipment
• Strip-down, inspection and reassembly of mechanical components
• Maintenance of pumps, valves, gearboxes and rotating equipment
• Repairs to crushers and other large fixed plant
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications

About You

To be successful, you will have:
