Aston Advantage is seeking a Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our mining and quarrying team in Ormeau, Queensland. The role combines workshop (60%) and on-site (40%) work, focusing on fixed plant maintenance and repair of screens and crushers.

Trade-qualified candidates with hands-on experience on screens and crushers, and a willingness to travel to mine sites, are encouraged to apply. The position offers $50–$60 per hour plus super and a fully maintained work ute, with Monday to Friday

Qualifications

• Must be trade qualified with most experience on screens and crushers.
• Electrical experience is highly regarded.
• Must be willing to travel to mine sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Mix of workshop (60%) and on-site (40%) work on fixed plant.

• Operate safely and independently on job sites.
