Job summary

Aston Advantage in Smithfield, NSW is seeking a Mechanical Fitter with diesel engine rebuilds and diagnostics experience. This role involves engine rebuilds, repairs, and overhauls on OEM engines within a small, close-knit workshop team.

You’ll join a reputable workshop offering Monday–Friday hours (8:00am–4:30pm), no weekend work, and long-term job security; competitive hourly rate of $50–$60 per hour. With over 20 years in business and direct OEM backing, you’ll gain exposure to defence

Qualifications

• Trade qualified fitter/boilermaker with diesel engine rebuild experience.
• Experience in component fitting and diagnostics is essential.
• OEM or heavy equipment experience is highly regarded.

• Rebuild diesel engines and perform component fitting and diagnostics.
• Carry out repairs and overhauls on OEM engines.
