You will overhaul, service and assemble pumps, valves, pipework and control panels, manage commissioning, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanical fitter, plumber, or HVAC technician (Certificate III).
• Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, pipework, and control panels.
• Plumbing, drainage, or water infrastructure backgrounds welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Precision overhauls of complex systems used in mining, aerospace, marine and more.
• Systems maintenance: service, repair and assemble pumps, valves, pipework and control panels.
• Specialist kit work on intricate capital equipment.
• Commissioning: installations, testing, commissioning and final certification.
• Fault finding: troubleshoot and diagnose system faults.
• Interact with customers to arrange servicing, inspections and installations and build relationships.
• Documentation: complete inspection logs, service reports and test records to standards.
• Maintenance: preventative maintenance and field work.
• Parts: stay accountable for equipment and spare parts, keep records of spares in and out.

This opportunity is workshop based on the Northern Beaches. They design and build a range of medium to large capriatl equipment for critical industries. Small, tight Sydney team with genuine room to grow in the role as the business expands.

The Work (85% Workshop / 15% Site):

• Precision Overhauls: Overhaul complex systems used in mining, aerospace, marine and more
• Systems Maintenance: Service, repair and assemble pumps, valves, pipework and control panels
• Specialist Kit: Work on intricate capital equipment
• Commissioning: Handle installations, testing, commissioning and final certification
