Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and giving feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families and community.
• Demonstrated reflection and engagement in professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area.
• Undertake other classroom duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
