Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to teach literacy and numeracy and respond to diverse student learning needs.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating student growth.
• Experience monitoring, assessing and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Commitment to reflect on practice and engage in professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Directly teach groups and individuals to achieve specific student outcomes.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and school programs.
• Undertake other classroom and organisational duties as required by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Lead and supervise student teachers where applicable; use student data to inform teaching approaches.
