Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum with ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating teaching impact on student growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• Commitment to Department values and engaging in ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals; deliver instruction aligned to curriculum.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within a school program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organizational duties as required by leadership.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Engage in school-wide policy development and co-curricular activities as appropriate.
