Job summary

Downer is seeking a Materials & Logistics Coordinator to join our Perth-based Energy & Utilities team. You will coordinate procurement, track materials, and manage freight and logistics to ensure timely delivery for major projects.

You will work closely with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse teams, providing accurate reporting and contributing to on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials coordination, procurement, or logistics.
• Ability to coordinate multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project administration reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities, purchase orders and supplier follow-ups to ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Track and expedite project materials from requisition through to delivery, maintaining accurate status reporting.
• Coordinate freight, transport and logistics activities across suppliers, warehouses and project sites.
• Support inventory management, material allocation and reconciliation of received goods.
• Provide regular material status updates and reporting to project teams to support delivery planning.
