Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Material & Logistics Coordinator to join our Engineering Construction E&I team based in our Perth office. You will support project delivery through material coordination, logistics and technical documentation, interfacing with Engineering, Procurement and Project teams.

You will review drawings, identify material requirements and maintain registers, while ensuring accurate information across systems and databases to support schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Material Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator or similar role within mining, resources, oil & gas or major construction projects.
• Technical, trade or engineering background, or demonstrated experience in a construction project environment with ability to understand technical terminology.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and complete or support material take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation to identify project material requirements.
• Complete material take-offs (MTOs) and maintain accurate material registers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate material procurement, logistics and delivery to support project schedules.
• Maintain and update client material management systems, project databases and documentation.
• Monitor material status, shortages and critical path items, providing regular updates to project teams.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, vendors, site teams and clients to ensure accurate and timely material information.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets and project documentation to support material management and project delivery.

Monadelphous is seeking a Material & Logistics Coordinator to join our Engineering Construction E&I team based in our Perth office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical, trade or engineering background who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment, supporting project delivery through material coordination, logistics and technical documentation. Working closely with Engineering, Procurement and Project teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring project materials are accurately identified, tracked and delivered to support construction schedules. This role is ideally suited to someone who can confidently interpret engineering drawings, understands construction terminology and enjoys working with systems, data and project documentation.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a Material Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Work Pack Coordinator, Permit Coordinator, Scheduling Coordinator, Project Coordinator or similar role within mining, resources, oil & gas or major construction projects.
• A technical, trade or engineering background, or demonstrated experience working in a construction project environment with the ability to understand technical terminology and engineering documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and complete or support material take-offs.
• Experience working with client document management systems, material management systems and project databases.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse and manage large volumes of project data.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, procurement and construction teams.
